Η Sony λανσάρει ένα εντυπωσιακό μόνιτορ. Το PVM-2551MD όμως είναι ένα “medical–grade OLED monitor” και είναι ήδη στην αγορά εδώ και κάποιο καιρό, έλαβε όμως και έγκριση από τον αμερικανικό FDA.
Είναι το “world’s first medical-grade monitor,” στις 25″ display, και με πιστότητα εικόνα ΑΠΙΣΤΕΥΤΑ σημαντική για μια ιατρική διαδικασία. Με την τεχνολογία Sony OLED, υπόσχεται “true-to-life color” αναπαραγωγή και μηδενικό θάμπωμα κίνησης – motion blur at all.
Ο κος George Santanello, γενικός μάνατζερ του Sony Medical Systems Division, είπε: “Already showing tremendous advantages for surgeons in other parts of the world, the new Sony OLED monitor will now enhance surgical viewing in the U.S., and become the ‘must have’ medical display. A number of Sony’s key technology resellers and integrators have already evaluated the display and noted the significant benefits of OLED versus traditional LCD, so we’re excited about getting the product into operating rooms across the country.”
