Με την πρεμιέρα του τον Σεπτέμβρη του 2016, το νέο όπλο της Oppo (…) είναι και το πρώτο UHD Blu-ray player της εταιρίας με κόστος $549. Ιδού λοιπόν, το UDP-203 που τώρα θα γίνει και το πρώτο με Dolby Vision HDR μέσα από ένα firmware update που έρχεται “early 2017”. Τι δίνει;
Είναι ένα μηχάνημα που υπακούει στην UHD Blu-ray specification κάτι που σημαίνει ανάλυση 4K αλλά και HDR (High Dynamic Range) μαζί με μεγαλύτερο color gamut. Και όχι μόνο: φέρνει και high-quality αναπαραγωγή μουσικής στο τραπέζι:

Και τώρα το νέο: τα λόγια της εταιρίας λένε: “support for Dolby Vision will be available in the future via a firmware upgrade early 2017”. Σε σύγκριση με το HDR10 format σε όλα τα UHD Blu-ray players, το Dolby Vision δίνει υποστήριξη για 12-bit βάθος χρώματος και dynamic metadata.
Υπάρχουν ακόμη 2x HDMI εισόδοι, μια για το βίντεο και μια για το audio, δύο USB 3.0, θύρα LAN. Όλα αυτά για $549 δολάρια ενώ ένα higher-end UDP-205 αναμένεται το 2017. Ναυρχίδα.
