…official release date. Η νέα σειρά παρουσιάστηκε μέσα από ένα panel στην Comic-Con@Home και η ιστορία μας φέρνει στα χνάρια του Dexter Morgan 10 μετά το φινάλε της 8ης σεζόν του 2013.
Ο Clyde Phillips που εργάστηκε στο New Blood είπε πως η σειρά θα “pick up with Dexter in another place, in another world, actually, as far away from Miami as possible.”
Ο Michael C. Hall που υποδύθηκε τον δολοφόνο από το 2006 μέχρι το 2013 είπε πως εν μέρη η απόφαση για νέα σειρά ήρθε και από την απογοήτευση του κοινό από το φινάλε. “I think the ending was mystifying, at best, to people — confounding, exasperating, frustrating, on down the line of negative adjectives. And I think this is a show that’s very important to all of us and the chance to revisit it and maybe in the process redefine the sense of the show’s ending and the sense of the show’s legacy more broadly was certainly a part of our motivation.”
