Η Sony αγόρασε την Gaikai, μια εταιρία που είναι η “world’s leading interactive cloud-based gaming company.”
Και μιλάμε για κόστος στα $380 περίπου που ενώ φαίνεται πως η SCE θα χρησιμοποιήσει την εταιρία για μια cloud υπηρεσία που θα προσφέρει “…interactive entertainment experiences” για τους πελάτες.
Ο κος ndrew House, Πρόεδρος και Group CEO της Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., είπε: “By combining Gaikai’s resources including its technological strength and engineering talent with SCE’s extensive game platform knowledge and experience, SCE will provide users with unparalleled cloud entertainment experiences. SCE will deliver a world-class cloud-streaming service that allows users to instantly enjoy a broad array of content ranging from immersive core games with rich graphics to casual content anytime, anywhere on a variety of internet-connected devices.”
Από το 2008 η εταιρία με έδρα την California φημίζεται για υψηλής ποιότητας, ταχύτατα interactive cloud-streaming συστήματα πλατφόρμας.
