Και ναι, το Nintendo 2DS τελικά ΘΑ διατίθεται από τις 12 Οκτώβρη αλλά σύμφωνα με τον πρόεδρο της Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime που μίλησε στοCNBC για το Nintendo 2DS έχει στόχο “very young kids.”
“What we did here was we focused in on a key consumer segment, the consumer that right now for the standard 3DS, $170 is a bit of a higher price point,” Fils-Aime said. “So this device with that slate-like form factor, it fits that consumer and also by taking out the 3D feature it allows us to target very young kids: five, six, seven years old.”
Το Nintendo 2DS θα είναι στα 130 δολάρια (98 ευρώ), 40 δολάρια φθηνότερο από το 3DS. Η εταιρία θα μειώσει και την τιμή του Wii U λίγους μήνες πριν το PS4 της Sony και το Xbox One της Microsoft.
