Το sequel στην υπερεπιτυχία του 2009 θα είναι και οπτικά επαναστατικό. Ναι Avatar του 2020 slated θα έχει εικόνα glasses-free 3D. Δηλαδή;
Το Inquisitor μίλησε με τον James Cameron και συγκεκριμένα με την Lightstorm Entertainment που εργάζεται με τη high-tech team Christie Digital για να εισαγάγει μια τεχνολογία για ‘clear, sharp images at high frame rates’. Η εικόνα δε θα έρχεται από ένα σύστημα προβολής RGB laser ενώ θα χρησιμοποιείται και “state-of-the-art technology and VFX to capture the underwater world and shoot fluidic scenes under the guidance of James Cameron along with the collaboration from Twentieth Century Fox.”
