Fifty years ago, Italdesign revealed the Asso di Picche, a groundbreaking 2+2 coupé based on an Audi 80 chassis, drawing design inspiration from Alfa Romeo Caimano and Maserati Boomerang. Despite its initial obscurity, the Asso di Picche emerged as a sleek, aerodynamic marvel during an era dominated by the tecnigrafo design method.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Italdesign introduced the new Asso di Picche In Movimento, reinterpreting the original’s lines in a larger, sculptural form to accommodate modern powertrain architecture.
