Κάτι άλλο έχει ετοιμάσει και ρίχνει στην ISE 2017 η Epson που έχει ενδιαφέρον. Η νέα έκδοση των Moverio smart glasses είναι τα πιο κομψά BT-350, σχεδιασμένα για εμπορικές augmented reality commercial χρήσεις όπως τέχνη, πώληση και όχι μόνο.
“The design and wearability is key, and the BT-350 is designed with commercial applications in mind,” λεέι η κυρία Valerie Riffaud-Cangelosi, υπεύθυνη new market developments στη Epson Europe. “Its durable build and features designed for comfort mean it can be repeatedly worn by lots of visitors, fitting comfortably for long periods of time, no matter their shape, size, or if they wear glasses. Its unique design has been created using feedback from customers and projects already using the previous generation of Moverio in a wide-range of applications, resulting in easy fleet management features thanks to its dedicated options and accessories.”
Η εταιρία λέει πως πολλά BT-350 μπορούν και να φορτίζουν όπως και να αναβαθμίζονται ταυτόχρονα με νέο μηχανάκι ενώ η μπαταρία έχει ισχύ για six ώρες και ο controller κλειδώνει. Θα έχουν και Bluetooth Smart, WiFi, Miracast αλλά και αισθητήρες κίνησης ενώ μπορεί να δώσει και περιεχόμενο 3D content, και διαθέσει μια high-resolution, πέντε megapixel stereo κάμερα.
Στην αγορά τα Moverio BT-350 θα είναι από τον Απρίλιο του 2017 για 1.500 Euro.
